In 2020 Covid-19 becomes the context to ask questions posed by World Warp III: When will people wake up to what’s happening? How will the sense of urgency to intervene—to collectively reinvent the future— become apparent? The screenplay places us all in dramas of intersecting matrixes of crisis and change. Sci-fi tropes spinning such terms as warps and matrix are used to cultivate auras of hyper-reality around the existential realities of contemporary dramas.
